Spray glue works as long as you get the right stuff. It's GOTTA be the "web pattern" spray I've found. I built that square-ish red on that, and that lasted until the foam demolished, and a few others. Subpar glue product will come apart tho. I just picked some up the other day that I think might work, we'll see tomorrow.
If you had dap drying and getting hard in places you were putting too much on. Gorilla glue will do that real bad, but dap shouldnt be a problem as long as you use a thin coat. I've heard people talk about keeping their DAP in like a squeezable soap bottle (covered in duct tape so light cant get to the glue), which supposedly makes it pretty easy to apply. Gonna try this when I have a few empties.

Bad spray glues are way bad. Good ones can save you time without losing much durability. 3M-77 can work on shields, 3M-90 isn't much better. Just picked up some loctite high performance stuff, which advertised a web spray pattern, we'll see how it does.

Most adhesives work well if used correctly. I've had swords w/ 3M 77 & 90 (better) hold up for a long time. Just need to follow directions, get a complete coat and wait until tacky/ dry depending on what you're using.
Olos is correct thought that heavier duty, web sprays are the best, but it can be pricy. DAP is your best all-purpose adhesive that is good value for the $$$ you spend. I really like the idea of a squeeze bottle to apply. Maybe you could try a Mayonnaise bottle that has the slit in the top rather than a soap bottle.

I wonder if you could use an oil can. They are usually opaque and can pump thick liquids fairly easy. Maybe the issue would be the nozzle getting clogged with dried Dap. Could always make a little rubber nib to put in the tube to keep air out.

I'd be afraid of it getting clogged up in the tube. With a dish soap bottle, the opening is wide enough that you can just clear it out if it clogs. I dunno tho, haven't tried it yet.

Meant to ask Olos, have you got to handle Demox's new weapon at WPO, and was it the ideal way to make it? (like how it felt in use or did you even get the chance too?)
(built it with copper piping for the handle, with some metal tent stakes alone. The rest was probably like just 2 layers of blue foam rapped around lightest fiberglass core you'd can find with just 4 retangle sides just lightly glued on, to make it look like a club, but in reality its not. Its like a kite spar boom sticks we made in 2005, only this time NO restrictions from people stopping us to make it this in the company before cause of the lightness).
If it was good, than that should be IL signature weapon once more, we don't nearly have enough boom sticks anymore and wouldn't mind making them again.

That club was...dirty. Long enough to get deep shots and light enough to really build up some speed on them.

That club could have been lighter. I don't want it to become a standard.

Pretty much what debuenzo said. It was light enough but too long and too tipweighted for me.

For Olos or Porno, that weapon is decent at best, for me I rocked it in all the good horrible ways. What Bard said holds true, I didnt even have to try to wrap people, it just happened. Literally that whole event was wraptastic
Kodo you want a standard, those boomsticks you guys made before. Those are like jean creme. Would not mind those becoming the Central Co. Signature

Who are we Eva? Or whatever the hell the name of that group. All they use are boomsticks and sport their sunglasses.
