Personally, and i can probably speak for everyone from the military side of this, Leadership can come in many different forms and when leading someone. Good leaders can get the job done, however they can with whatever resources are allowed. They notice all the good aspects of people and who works good together to get said task accomplished. A good leader needs to know the people he commands, and what they are also not good at. Leaders should be able to motivate the people they are leading, by whatever means possible, and know what motivates them. Being knowledgable, charasmatic, and fit also help in the situation that we are usually in. Experience is also a desirable trait for leaders. If they havent done it before, they wont be as decisive in decision making.
For Bad leaders- Arrogance is bad, Seriously. That arrogant fuck that does whatever he wants because he is "in good" with his boss and is given people under him without proving himself capable. Stupid people usually dont make good leaders due to their inability to recognize a situation and figure out what they should be doing. Negative reinforcement usually makes for a bad leader. Granted, you could be a glutton or punishment, and that could get you off, but for most people it demotivates them and makes them not want to do what the leader says.
All i can think of for now

A good leader works for the men beneath him, doing everything in his power to ensure his men are taken care of both on and off the field, by giving them the tools and training needed to survive. He leads by example from the front and makes damn sure the leaders beneath him do the same. He is not a friend nor enemy of his men and should be both feared and respected among those men. He should display the following traits at all times, Justice, Judgment, Dependability, Integrity, Decisiveness, Tact, Initiative, Enthusiasm, Bearing, Unselfishness, Courage, Knowledge, Loyalty, Endurance (JJ DID TIE BUCKLE for the fellow Marines)
I have much more to say only because I train Marine Corps officers and judging their ability to lead is a huge part of my job

What makes a good leader? Someone that can organize others to accomplish goals that will better the group What does it take to get there? Discipline, Dedication, Teamwork, Sacrifice, Strength, and Courage Are some people born good leaders or did they have to work at it? People respond differently to different people, some people have stronger voices than others. In most groups there is the emotional leader and the goal leader. The goal leader makes sure that things are getting accomplished, the emotional leader makes sure and keeps up with those in the group. Can ANYONE be a leader? For the most part anyone, it just requires more effort on the part of some What are the traits of said good leader? Disciplined, Strong but sensitive, Strict but understanding. Courageous but not foolish. Able to speak to large groups of people and small groups. Ability to inspire others to accomplish tasks that they may not want to do. Do you possess these traits? I've been developing them over the years and the more I want to accomplish things within the Dag/Bel/Amt community the more I develop these traits. I understand the importance of being strong individually but working as a team, you can move mountains. I believe I possess these traits and I can make them stronger Do you see them in anyone specifically? Talus, Bard, Olos, Kat What makes a BAD leader? One who goes back on their promises, to themselves or to the group. Selfishness and Arrogance How does leadership partain to the Company? It builds the backbone of the company, it keeps unity and strength for which the ring symbolizes. It lets US move the mountains, take it's place and stand even taller and stronger.
