I hope that buckled tine can be flipped. Pull the belt back out and see if that tine can go to the left. The tine is supposed to be on the side where the belt comes into the buckle. Trust me us fat people know about belts. it looks symmetrical though cause you can see the mount for the tine running down the middle of the buckle. If it were asymmetrical the loop would be on one side for the tine.
